For the community
What is it?
The Tiny2 Archive is an open-source, community-powered resource built for indie game developers and modders alike. Whether you're crafting a new world or enhancing an existing one, the Archive offers a treasure trove of free assets, audio, video, models, textures, scripts, guides, and more, all contributed by creators like you.
But it’s more than just a repository. It’s a thriving community where collaboration fuels creativity. Need a specific model or texture that’s not in the Archive? Tap into the collective expertise of our members, artists, programmers, and designers, ready to help bring your vision to life.
In return, all we ask is that you pay it forward, share your assets, offer advice, or contribute your knowledge to help others. Together, we can make your passion more open and understandable for others.
The Archive has not gone live yet and is inaccessible at the moment however, soon The Archive will be live, and you’ll be able to access it and build whatever your heart desires. The Archive has an official Discord server that will have the community at your disposal and links to access The Archive itself when the time comes.
How do I access The Archive?
What’s the catch?
The only catch in terms of The Archive is that when you use assets or people from within the community, you label your projects with the “Tiny2 Archive Project” symbol somewhere in the information of your project, whether that’s on the description page of Nexus Mods or your game’s Steam page. Additionally, joining The Archive to just take assets for yourself and not credit or contribute anything would cause issues, as these assets would be considered stolen. However, assets that you or anyone else has created can be removed from The Archive at any point at the creator’s discretion.
What projects currently use The Archive?
Currently, the only projects using The Archive at the current time are internal projects by the founding members themselves, such as Doctor Spiffing’s mod projects or Tiny2 Studios in development games. Once some more assets have been provided to the Archive during production of these projects, The Archive will go live for public use.
